Always too much? - JJ

Since he come back, does anyone else agree that he's always trying to do too much? Often at games, he tried to take on 3 players when it's clearly too much. He has the ability to take on 2 and then pass but he just goes all the way and I've noticed he's been more greedy with shooting now too.

Anyone else agree?

Yeah I don't mind confident, but when he's throwing chances away by trying to doing way too much himself, it really irritates me

Trying to earn himself a new contract by showing DJ his capabilities.

Capability to lose the ball from being overconfident

I just wish that he'd pass it. Even if it was only for a quick one-two, but he often gives up at least one good opportunity to slip the ball out to somebody else and inevitably loses it, or has a shot that could be described as optimistic. Having said all that, it's just the nature of his game, and you've got to take the rough with the smooth.

Got to adapt his surely if we do get promoted. Love watching him though but often as others say he'll take on one too many, he does seem to get carried away sometimes. But you always end up finding yourself forgiving him when he scores a beaut.

Possibly but perhaps he's been told to do that with a different manager who likes attacking players more an lets them express themselves, you've got to remember his goals before he was injured as well, storming and he seemed to single handed get us points in those games.

To be fair though its the difference between a good player and a great player knowing when to release the ball 1way or another so i suppose we could at it to JJ's list of reasons why he aint been a proper Prem player.

A perfect example was Saturday, he is good.. I'm not taking that away from him but it is a major GREED he has. Could of easily put us 2-0 up for Madine to put it into an open net but he greedily took it himself and missed

Dave Jones will have made a mental note for when the transfer window opens.
