SheffieldGraduate Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 (edited) There keeper were poo today dropped everything and in all honesty shouldve done better with madines shot but still what a belter Totally disagree - thought he came and was unfairly awarded a free kick in first half - thought other than that he commanded his box well. He is a is a big lad and was generally effective - looked a bit lucky at times . Unlike the ref who poor to much worse. Antonio was stood there ready to celebrate and GM ran straight past him to the touchline to be then mobbed by every Owls player leaving Antonio to stroll back for a lonely drink! His positioning was spot on, all he had to do was get behind it. Madines second one on the other hand was pure class. An unstoppable header. Just a real shame he didn't get a hatrick moments after when he put it over with a side foot volley. Good performance from him today, his first touch and hold up play was very good. He said in the interview after the game that the bench had been giving him stick for hitting the floor so quickly so he went over to give them some back. It was just banter though he added; they said fair play for answering back with goals and that was the end of it. It's nice to see him fired up again, just hope there's no cars about!
