Guest Sheff Owl
Immense again. This guy never stops running. If he doesn't get the ball the first time, he continues to chase and pressure the player till he does. He is strong to hold the opposition player off when he has the ball. Even if/when he gets fouled he just gets back up, no moaning and get's on with it!! IMO i know it might be early but certainly a contender for Player of the Year - without a doubt!! For me Semedo is one player we can NOT leave out of the team! Well done Jose - keep up the good work!
Jowl
He's the type of player we've been needing since Palmer left at his peak. He's been our best player this season so far IMO.
Guest TonyOwl88
He is class, and should be a big part of us going forward.

bobtheowl
He was absolutely brilliant today, MoM for me too. Buxton & Marshall were none too shabby either.
Sham67
Made a special effort to watch him today. On and off the ball he looked top quality. Just what we've been missing for years. Keep it up son.

Keep it up son. Yep off the ball the guy is so aware of what's going on around him. Oh yeah forgot to add the one on one that he had where he tackled the player and just took the ball. alanharper
Semedo was immense again today, great to see a midfielder in a Wednesday shirt who actually wins the vast majority of his tackles. Different level of course, but I'd say he has to be the best midfield tackler we've had since Carlton.

He made county's best player, the guy who saw red last week, look foolish a few times just by touching the ball around him as the ball and opponent came toward him. Far too good for this league. Very assured and a great pro. Wednesday legend in the making
Dan™
I caught myself laughing and shaking my head in pure amazement on more than a couple of occasions while watching Semedo today, he's the classiest footballer I've seen at Hillsborough in a long time. Who was the side after him in Portugal? I haven't got a clue how we got hold of him if he was playing like this for Charlton last season, he's embarrassingly good for this division. Madine had a fantastic game and Marshall had an amazing first half, but Semedo ran the show and was easily my MotM. We're still in August too, which makes the fact he isn't included in the player of the month vote even more baffling.
i used to be sc_owl
A fantastic signing. The best piece of business we've done in a few years. The guy has class way above League One standard, and if we get promoted I can see him being comfortable in the Championship as well. He has an excellent footballing brain. His anticipation and positional play is spot on and he uses the ball well. Cannot believe we got a player of that quality on a free transfer. Maybe the best signing of the summer/season.
richowl
I believe it was Braga in Portugal. They beat Liverpool in Europe last season...saying that didn't they get too the final?

Guest Triplej2
Stuff like the Semedo signing just doesn't happen to us!! Signing a player from a (London based) promotion rival (on a free) when wanted by a top Portugese side. We usually get beaten to the signature by some no mark club and we all agree how we're not attractive anymore! He looks f*cking Epic, brilliant piece of business! Guest Sheff Owl
He seemed really happy, pleased and eager in the interview RS did with him before they went off air.
Bluesteel
Makes a massive difference to have a player who can tackle and then actually remain composed enough to make a decent pass.
malek
It really seems that Megson has clear vision of who he wants in the side, and exactly how to fit them in. Hat down for that.
