Guest maltaowl
Not sure if this has been mentioned but as JJ was leaving the pitch a few Wednesday fans vented their frustration at him and told him to up his game and play for the shirt. Johnson then reacted angrily and disgracefully towards them and had to be held by a couple of stewards whilst cursing the fans; who had everyone right too after the crap shift he gave. Just lives on 'looking livley' and the odd cracker every blue moon. Not good on/off the pitch and the sooner rid the better.
amitten
So you think it's OK for fans to give him stick but not for him to respond?
owls66
He's probably angry we've been battered (again), I bet most other players just walk off without a care in the world that we've been humiliated yet again. Still I doesn't excuse having a go at paying fans.

Most over rated player in the squad. Bit of fast running in his flipping banana boots then sulking around for a bit. Cannot see why folks rate him? No final ball, no flipping vision of where other players are, Helen Keller and Ray Charles had better shooting skills. Maybe MM cancelling a couple of contracts might, maybe just might, make a few sit up and take notice that the guy paying them each month ain't flipping happy. Miffed
I dont get how JJ is seen as a blue eyed boy who seemingly can do no wrong. He is an aweful player who offers very little. His end product is almost non existant. The odd goal doesnt cut it with me. If I could sum him up in one word it would be "Liability" If he was any good or had and end product he wouldnt be at Wednesday. One of the most over-rated players we have had in a long time. I understand that as he was really the one singalled out but he shouldn't react like that especially when he put that shift in. For me, he didn;t seem to break out a sweat
Guest Briscoe Inferno
I would be tempted to offload the inconsistent JJ in the summer. He should be running at L1 defences at will and at least winning penalties but as always the final ball is a let down. Wrong decisions, wrong pass selection, inconsistent shooting.... Shame. owls66
One week he's our saviour and should be given a 1-year extension, then one week he's w@nk and needs gettin rid of. Some people are so fickle....
Lee A
The lads about finished, its obvious. Whatever this illness he had was, i think its affected him a lot more than he lets on. He doesnt run when he has space like he normally would, he looks like he's blowing hard and just cant do it any more. His contracts up at the end of the season, doubt he will get another. Skyline
Can no one else see we're playing JJ wrong? All that pace yet we never seem to play the ball infront of him to chase. All Peterborough did tonight was knock that ball infront of Mackail-Smith and our defenders, causing us all sorts of problems. Why don't we do that with JJ, rather than just passing it to his feet, or smashing it on his head?
RichSheffWeds
It's completely unprofessional to start cursing fans. He'll be gone in the summer. A winger who cannot cross a ball is a luxury we cannot afford. Edited March 15, 2011 by RichSheffWeds

Maybe is he bought some proper boots rather than some gaylord pimp attire he might be an improvement. But...offload him faster than last nights curry

Shows what we have got used to watching when people still get excited by somebody who puts his head down and runs knowhere, and as for his ability with a football thats non existent. Overated idle, and a Total waste of space tonight AGAIN, Peterborough aRe the latest defence he aint torn that peverbial new arsehole in. Last_Great_Hope
So you think it's OK for fans to give him stick but not for him to respond? Of course it's ok. The fans hard-earned cash is what gives him his privelidged life style that he enjoys. The bare minimum that we expect is for him to put the effort in and look like he actually cares. Couple of things stick out from tonight- he lost the ball on half way trying to do something stupid and gave it to the one of their players, about two yards away. Did even MOVE to try and challenge to get back, just stood and watched- and they scored from it. Next was one if the few times we actually got the balk forward quickly- ge didn't even bother to run forward just walked towards their goal. Thompson couldn't believe it "We're attacking and JJ's strolling about! What the flippinghells he playing at??!" I doubt he'll play for us again. HOOTIE AND THE SHIT TU
JJ lives around the corner from me and I've spoken to him quite a lot. I know he's inconsistant, but I also know he loves the club. If he's playing poorly then he will be as frustrated as anyone. His feet might not be in the right place, and I won't defend him if he's played poorly, but I know his heart is in the right place, he cares about our supporters and he genuinely does love the club, and I will defend him on that. Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.
