Mr Farrell
Holy crap. 100k could have quite probably kept us up last season. That is quite shocking. I'm genuinely gutted at that bombshell !

Mr Farrell
Seems like a major clanger dropped by or whoever. flip me. Isn't the idea of getting investment, that money comes into the club ? Not you get nothing, spend 100k on jack poo poo, while all along you have a squad that couldn't score in a Brannigans ? Lee, Lee, Lee, what's that all about man ? M Royds
If the deal that £100k helped negotiate gets completed by one of the 6, then its worth every penny. Thats true. But if spent on the squad then we may still be in the Championship and a more attractive proporsition? All a big IF, I.m afraid?

True. I recon we could go over the accounts and find many costs that could've funded a player. It's all ifs and buts.
@owlstalk
9 Carol Axe is now Chief Operating Officer Excellent news A very suitable appointment I know Carol well and know what she's capable of (as well as having a sensible head on her shoulders) Owlstalk Shop
Guest totemowl
So how much should you spend to try and bring in investment ? £100k to realise £20M of investment was a good bet, according to the above. But sometimes even good bets fail to come home.
BobsMagicCalculator
100k is chicken feed compared to whats been spent off the field upgrading stuff. I feel we could have done it more gradual leaving funds back for plan B which was needed to fund the playing staff side in January. Big mistakes have been made by the last chairman imo. Weshallovercome
It all sounds good to me..........I suppose the £100k might seem excessive, but you have to speculate to accumulate sometimes..........and we are 'investor ready' now, that alone must be worth £99k. p,s, cheers, john. As Donny said, £100k isn't bad considering they have sorted and negotiated the deal that all the other p[otential bidders couldnt be arsed to do. Club9 are my favoured bidders but i will support the club no matter what.
